My garden, Marietta, Ga
I think I'm allergic to winter, my bones hurt and it hasn't even gotten cold yet. Diggity-dang! Hmmmp. However to make myself feel better I reflect on the summer and spring when my garden was in bloom. I have a collection of Rubeckia, I grow any vegetable I can get my hands on and i'm looking forward to my next challenge of growing fruit trees and bee keeping. Wish me well!.

Coastal bamboo farm, Savannah, Ga
I can't say I easily fall in love, but the bamboo farm stole my heart, who would have "thunk" it? It had many species of, bamboo, bananas , squash and other fruits and berries! It was the most amazing thing I've ever seen.

Tybee Island, Georgia
Coastal Georgia has a very diverse amount of species. Many plants seem to adapt to the coastal region but, did not lose the appearance of their original predecessor. It's not hard to distinguish the original look.
Skidaway Community Garden
This summer I experienced a wonderful community garden while visiting Savannah,GA. This garden inspired me a great deal. I decided I have to join a beautiful community garden in Marietta or start my own. It's always a great opportunity to be around like-minded people and swap recipes and vegetables. If you are in coastal Georgia check out Skidaway Farms.

Gourds
One of my favorite plants to grow is the gourd they go crazy and cross pollinate and create wonderful species.
I also love the opportunity to create many crafts with the unlimited possibilities of gourd shapes and sizes.
